Most Cultures Honor their Loved Ones.

Some worship or pray to the deceased, some only have a photo or altar or some representation of their loved ones to remember. Some hope their attentions to their deceased will somehow influence their present or future.

In many Indian households there is a photo or small altar to honor an ancestor. This is a photo of Marcel Chowriamah who passed away in 2019. His family has this photo adorned with a garland in a prominent place in their living room.

Are you of Indian descent and have something like this, or did you grow up with something like this? Please comment with photos and explanations of your personal experiences.
