Maison Landemaine, Paris

Maison Landemaine is a coffee shop that I visited every morning during my stay in Paris. Café au lait and a fresh pastry quickly became my breakfast routine. I loved sitting at the little tables outside and watching the city wake up. The coffee was amazing and so were the treats.

Pain au Chocolat, so flaky and crisp with a core of delicious chocolate..

The chouquette was heavenly! A sweet, light cream filled the soft, chewy doughnut like choux dough..

I loved the tarts for breakfast. The perfect balance of sweet and fruity with a crisp, perfectly baked tart shell. A beautifully presented apple tart..

They also offered an apricot tart. The high quality pastries at every coffee shop in Paris never ceased to amaze me. For under five dollars I could get my coffee and one of these stunning works of art..

I had to get a plain croissant on one of my visits just to try a local favorite. It was the best croissant I have ever had. Fresh, light, layered, flaky and perfect..

I loved my morning routine at Maison Landemaine, it was the perfect way to start a busy day in the city. The coffee shops of Paris had beautiful pastries and delicious coffee and I was always surprised at how affordable the selections were!
