In this interview I speak with Jennifer Robertson, mother of six, grandmother, and science teacher, and five (Aigne (On-yay) Sponaugle (Spa-nah-gull), , Alexis Kincaid, Kimber Jamison, Skylar Robertson, and Catherine Robertson) of her six children about their varying experiences in school settings. In the interview we discuss the desegregation or rather lack there of in school settings, colorism, bullying, as well as the stereotypes placed on Black women.

Dynamics of the Black Community - This course is an introduction to the varying dynamics of the Black community. Emphasis is placed on creating an appreciation for the Black community's unique attributes, resources, and contributions to the larger community. Students visit Black community organizations, institutions and/or businesses to identify a critical need and to develop a corresponding action plan.
