Ancestral Storyteller: African American Museum of Fine Art Recognition Event
On May 27th Alyce Smith Cooper was recognized as a cultural icon by the San Diego African American Museum of Fine Art. It was held at the Quartyard Open Air Event Center in downtown San Diego. As we ate wonderful healthy food, we were entertained by the Kamu Kenyatta Jazz Trio. Four remarkable San Diego artists were recognized as Keepers of the Culture at this annual event.
